We use the PBS framework to manage challenging behaviours. Behaviour management programs are implemented in home, centre, and community settings. Examples of common behaviours include but are not limited to:
- Stereotypy (self-stimulatory behaviours)
- Self injurious behaviours
- Non-compliance and defiance
- Hand and object mouthing
- Food refusal
- Anxiety (e.g., phobias and separation anxiety)
Our workshop on How Behaviour Works in conjunction with hands on training must be completed before implementation of any behaviour management plan. All theory and hands-on training is provided by our behaviour analyst and assisted by our senior behaviour interventionist.
